Shiny Green Obsidian Gaia Stone aka Helenite
Connection with the Heart of Earth,
Love and Compassion
Gaia Stone is the name given to a glassy material derived from Mount St. Helen’s volcanic eruption of 1980. After the eruption, when clean up began, workers with cutting torches noticed that heated ash reformed in to a greenish glassy material when melted by the torches. After improving and refining the process, we have this beautiful transparent material, we call Gaia Stone.
Gaia Stone aka Green Obsidian. This stone not only works on the heart chakra, it carries the heart chakra energy of the soul of the Earth. This type of attunement is very important at this current time as we begin to connect more deeply with Earth. It is also the Goddess stone. Gaia stone helps those doing self-healing of emotional wounds and those who wish to center in the heart and act from that place always. Gaia stone induces compassion and diffuses anger.
An interesting fact, This vivid green gemstone is the color of Nature. This particular shade of green sits exactly in the middle of the color spectrum. Because the eye muscles to not need to adjust to this shade of green it visually brings harmony, serenity, and calm.
Gaia, as Mother Nature, personifies the entire ecosystem of Planet Earth. Mother Nature is always working to achieve and maintain harmony, wholeness and balance within the environment. Mother Nature heals, nurtures and supports all life on this planet, and ultimately all life and health depend on Her. In time, Nature heals all ills.
Gaia, as the Earth Mother, or Consciousness Creator of our Reality, is a living organism spiraling through cycles of time on all levels of consciousness, following the patterns of sacred geometry, guided from above and below.
Through the global consciousness of Mother Gaia, all living things on this planet, from their most primordial instincts, are constantly interacting with their environment to ensure the harmony, balance and continuity of Life. Live in a balance with Mother Nature and health and healing are yours; violate Her laws and get out of balance, and you pay the price in suffering and disease. In this sense, all medicine and healing can be seen as a system of ecology.
There is one Gaia hypothesis which states that all life, and all living things on this planet, are part of a single, all-encompassing global entity or consciousness which he named Gaia. It is this global consciousness, Mother Gaia, that makes our planet capable of supporting life.
The Nag Hammadi Library, a collection of thirteen ancient codices containing over fifty texts, was discovered in upper Egypt in 1945. This immensely important discovery includes a large number of primary Gnostic scriptures – texts once thought to have been entirely destroyed during the early Christian struggle to define “orthodoxy” – scriptures such as the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Philip, and the Gospel of Truth. In the sole complete text in codex XIII is Trimorphic Protennoia, a title rather grandiosily rendered as “The Threefold Divine First Thought.” These declarations use “I” for a supernatural agency that declares its traits and actions.
Here’s an excerpt:
I am the thought that dwells in the light,
the movement that underlies all that endures,
She in whom everything resides, the first-born of all those
who exist in the presence of the All.
I dwell in those who came to be.
I move in everyone and I delve into them all.
I walk uprightly and those who sleep, I awaken.
I am the sight of those who dwell in sleep.
I am the invisible one within the all.
It is I who counsel those who are hidden…
